Adwoa Nyantakyiwaa is a seasoned educator and international development practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the education sector. Currently serving as the Regional Lead for Christ-Centered Education (West Africa) at Edify, she provides strategic guidance and technical support to CCE Program Leads and country teams across the region. Her work focuses on strengthening training content, improving training delivery, and supporting effective school follow-up and coaching practices.
Prior to joining Edify, Adwoa dedicated over two decades to the Ghana Education Service as a teacher. Between 2013-2017 she served as a Training Partner for Edify. She joined Edify as a staff in February 2018 and has held pivotal roles including Literacy Education Specialist, Education Specialist, and Lead Trainer. In these capacities, she facilitated School Leadership Training Programs in Ghana and Liberia, supporting and coaching school proprietors and headteachers to effectively transfer training competencies to their specific work environments.
Adwoa holds two Master of Philosophy degrees from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana: one in Measurement and Evaluation and the other in Administration in Higher Education. She is driven by a passion for school improvement that tangibly enhances student learning outcomes. Her deep expertise lies in School Leadership, Student Assessment, and Research & Development. She serves in the children’s department at her local church and provides remedial tuition to underprivileged children.
