Uche Nwaekpe joined Edify in September 2026 as the Country Director in Nigeria. His previous work includes his position as Branch Accountant for Zenith Nigergroup Co. Ltd (an Oil Servicing Company), the CEO of Wilance Academy, Port Harcourt, National Secretary of AFED for 4 years, and the State Secretary of the Association for Formidable Educational Development (AFED) for 9 years.
Uche is a problem solver, clear communicator, and a dynamic accountant and manager with over 15 years of industry and management experience. His extensive experience has enabled him to apply creative thinking to optimize resource allocation and drive sustainable value for stakeholders. He has M.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt and a B.Sc. in Accounting (with honors) from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. Additionally, he has gained multidisciplinary experience over his career.
Outside of work, Uche enjoys music and plays the keyboard. He is also a passionate youth leader desires to impact the next generation to be great ambassadors for Jesus Christ.
